I loved planning this Shabby Chic First Birthday Party for our little girl. Of course, I meant to blog it right after her birthday, but I figure it’s better late than never.
I found the pastel print fabric at JoAnn’s Fabrics, along with some little paper cups and accessories.
The bunting was created by cutting the fabric into strips and hanging it on some jute rope. I added strips of brown paper that I had crumpled up and some tulle. I love the final look and it was so easy!
In addition, I used fabric squares around the food and dessert table. I borrowed a fun burlap sign from my sister-in-law who made it for a bridal shower, and used a burlap table runner for the dining table.
Chalkboard signs added to the Shabby Chic theme. I also used jute rope and clothes pins to hang photos from her first year of life. I printed her name and the number 1 out of some Shabby Chic digital scrapbook paper, which were also used previously to create her custom invitation.
Her little romper came from The Children’s Place.
The cake was made by Sammy’s Sweets. It was so amazing. Sammy did a great job putting together the vision I had for the cake. And the flavors were amazing!
We had a wonderful day celebrating our little girl’s first birthday with family and friends!
