In May our second daughter celebrated her First Holy Communion. It was a very special day for her to get to receive the Eucharist for the very first time.

She was very excited to get to pick out her own new dress to wear for the special occasion. She had tried on the dress my mom made for my special day and that her older sister wore, but it wasn’t comfortable or very flattering, so off we went for a little shopping.  My parents came up for the week and were also here to celebrate her 9th birthday. So happy we could share this milestone in her faith journey with family.
