Hello, I’m Maggie

Your life is beautiful. Let’s tell its story…

I’m a Kansas farmer’s daughter who fell in love with an Idaho cattleman, a photographer and storyteller, and a firm believer that the everyday moments of our lives deserve to be remembered.

I photograph the people, connections and little details that make your story uniquely yours, then turn those memories into something tangible you can hold onto for generations.

life happens. memories matter. tell your story.

From Beautiful Places to Meaningful Moments

I’m a Kansas farmer’s daughter who fell in love with an Idaho cattleman. Agriculture is in my blood and growing up with family who worked the land in rural America helped me develop my value system. Helping raise and take care of farm animals and 4-H projects taught me a lot about responsibility, but it also provided valuable memory-making time with my friends and family. After graduating from Kansas State University, my husband and I moved to his family’s ranch to raise cattle and start our family. My degree is in agricultural communications and journalism, and along with photography, I have a passion for sharing and communicating about agriculture. I realize not everyone lives on a farm and with that distance from farms and ranches comes questions about what goes on there. I hope to be a source for bridging that gap. Now I love heading to the city every now and then, and can appreciate all the sights and sounds city life brings. In fact, most days I’m working from home in yoga pants or outside in muck boots taking care of animals, so putting on a dress and heels is a fun change for me. I’m both a denim and lace kinda girl. I’ve spent the last 17 years working with farmers, ranchers and agri-business leaders to tell their story through the written word in feature stories and news articles for local, regional and national publications. In addition, I provide graphic design, desktop publishing and photography services.

What does this mean for you?

I’ve taken my love of writing and storytelling, and applied the same philosophy to my photography. Your life is beautiful. Let’s capture it! My focus is on documenting life and creating YOURStory albums to share it. These albums are custom-designed, handmade, heirloom-quality and will last for generations. Your memories only become more valuable as time passes, and your portrait products should do the same. Among these pages and posts, you’ll find recent sessions and current news. You’ll hear about things I love and a little more about myself and my family. Feel free to check back often or make comments. I love to hear from people! You can also find me on Instagram (my fav) and Facebook.

What about you? What makes your heart beat fast or brings a smile to your face? I’d love to meet you and talk about what you like, love and dream. I love hearing about other people and telling their story through images. Your photography session is about you, so let’s find out how we can tell YOUR Story.
